At Design Portfolio, this role involved building and maintaining websites for clients, either by myself or alongside other developers.
During these builds, selecting key improvements and ensuring these would be implemented back into a base template to improve future sites. As my role progressed, I learned more about the operations of servers and deployment of code, setting up site infrastructure myself.
Specialising in corporate websites and annual reports, a lot of work would involve highly sensitive and regulated information, requiring an emphasis on security, accessibility, and best practice.
